I
must admit that my blogging of late has been in hibernation mode.
Plenty
of reasons why, but I will not bore you with the details.
Suffice
to say, one contributing factor has been the parlous state of media reporting
here in Australia as we are force-fed news revolving around our pathetic
political leaders and their obsession with economic rationalism, with scant
thought given to the social consequences of their single-minded policies.
Be
that as it may, two stories hit the press today which, unintentionally, will
lighten anyone’s heart, provided you still have a sense of humour.
So,
